ISROs historic Mission Moon, Chandrayaan 3 has made history.. India has achieved the coveted honour of being only the fourth country in the world to do such a grand marvel.. It exhibits the triumph of India’s Indigenous Technology aiming at Atmanirbhar Bharat and achieving Make in India… Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that ‘India is on Moon’… Indeed.. and to further that the site of landing is named as ‘ShivSakti Point’ and the site where Chandrayan 2 dashed is named as ‘Tiranga Point’ by the Prime Minister..

The Science and Technology in India is rapidly progressing… especially the Space Technology is one of the Best in the World.. It is the success of the Legacy of Dr Vikram Sarabhai, the founding father of India’s Space Programme.

It is like his dream realised by the grand effort by generations of Indian Scientists showcasing to the world India’s Supremacy in Space.

After the successful launch of Chandrayan, now the ISRO Scientist have their eyes on Sun.. An ambitious Solar Observatory in the form of Aditya-L1 is successfully Launched. The project will find data of Sun’s Surface and its atmosphere.. with Lunar and Solar Missions all eyes are on ISRO to see when India launched its first Manned Mission…

The Month of September is also special in that ‘International Day of Scientific Culture’ is being observed on 28^th Sept… on the day commemorating the first broadcast of the Iconic Science Television Programme COSMOS by the legendary scientist Carl Sagan. The day is observed with the goal to inculcate Scientific Temper in the Citizens of the world, thereby making them Cultured to get the benefits of Science for the benevolence of the Mankind..

This month is marvellous in the history of Indian Science. The month is special as it has the historic moon landing date.. In Indian context the spectacular launch of Chandrayan III will be noted in history as the month in which most ambitious project of ISRO… Chandrayan is launched.

ISRO has established itself as the most successful space research organization in the world… The dream of the visionary, father of Indian Space Programme Vikram Sarabhai, is translated to reality… showing the world the power of India’s Space Programme with the indigenously developed technologies by our scientists.

India is aiming to soft land on the moon and run a rover.. the coveted fete will put India to be just the 4^th such nation in the world to have such a technology.. Furthermore, India will be the first country to explore the south pole territory of the lunar surface.

India, in its previous space missions has established the meritorious trail by proving the presence of water on lunar surface. The current mission, with its scientific findings, will again make history by mapping the moons south pole, this will be a unique achievement…We are waiting for the touchdown of the mission moon…

This issue is dedicated to India’s Mission Moon, besides this all the regular features are presented.

Beating China now we are Number one.. in Population.. is it a boon or bane.. however the other side is that we are the youngest nation in the world and thus there is an opportunity.. to be the leading productive working force in the world.. It is also a concern at the same time in terms of providing food, education and health.. The task is to convert the billion hands into a colossus..

Again to speak of environment, the El Nino Year is here.. the warm air currents is the cause of adverse weather pattern.. Hot weather, never experienced before and paradoxically the hailstorms in some regions is a strange Climate.. Proper care has to be taken to combat the ill effects of El Nino…

As we technologically advance, there is more urge to reach to newer heights.. The effort of the SpaceX to take mankind beyond moon to mars and galaxy was shattered as there was mid air explosion of the most ambitious rocket ever made. Since we launched the mission of ScienceNow Digital, it is over Six months … It is gaining momentum… many of you are giving positive suggestions for what you want to see and read in the Digital Version of ScienceNow Digital… We are taking a very positive note of it… and the changes are incorporated in every next issue of ScienceNow Digital.. with your input we are continuously revamping the contents..

It will be still a more power packed material in the coming months… till the date ScienceNow Digital App is available only on Google Playstore but now very soon it will be on Appstore as well.. making the circle complete… and ScienceNow Digital will have a wider reach.

To speak about the reach we are glad that we have reached to over 25000 viewership[… in six months.. it is a good number.. but not so good for the digital version… since the app is almost free and the mission is to take science to the masses.. this innovation revolution needs to spread still wider.. We soon will be with the revamped Website too.. for you.. to  spread Science…  and that’s the promise!

As the Science Advances newer discoveries unfold… one such very recent is Chat GPT… spreading like a wildfire.. worldover.. It is an AI based tool to do almost everything… the question being asked is whether it will take over the human intellect… human creation challenging human creativity… Let’s welcome the new tool as it will be of help to do most of the routine things very quickly… however the challenge persists as to how it will impact the education and ethics… will it be a tool or will it take over….

In line with Innovation, we are carrying the winning start up innovation at the competition held by Bhanushali Chamber of Commerce in Mumbai.. It hosted an exhibition of 100 selected Innovations…12 best projects were awarded prizes and Funding assistance…Innovative start-up of Pearl cultivation technique is presented here.. It is an innovative technique which will empower the youth to become entrepreneurs…

In this Science Month Greetings on the occasion of the National Science Day! We Celebrate the Science Day in honour of the Nobel Discovery by great Scientist Sir C V Raman.
