A Step Away
India’s ambitious Moon Mission is on the way to moon, eyeing its ultimate goal of landing the lunar Surface. Launched on July 14th, the spacecraft has successfully entered the Lunar Orbit and now inching towards the Moon’s Surface and is just a ‘Step Away’ from making history.
Close to moon
The mission moon has successfully completed several maneuvers and is inching closer to moon. On 14th July, the launching of Chandrayaan was done, after 17 minutes, it entered the intended orbit, the second orbit raising maneuver was completed on 17th July, firing for the third round of the orbit was done on the 18th July and later with the fifth orbit-raising maneuver the mission was towards the Lunar Orbit Insertion. Its entry into the lunar orbit was done on 5th August and on 6th August, the first orbit reduction maneuver was completed, the next operation to was done on 9th of August. India’s Chandrayaan 3 is very close to reaching the surface of the moon.

Chandrayaan 3 is on the journey to reach the moon. Chandrayaan is heading towards the soft landing on the moon. Chandrayaan 3 is now just 174 km away from the moon.
Touchdown
ISRO will attempt the soft landing of the lander on the surface of the moon and to achieve this, the speed of Chandrayaan 3 has to be very slow.. The speed of the spacecraft is being reduced by completing various rounds in the Lunar Orbits, and with each round, the speed has been reduced by half
The mission continues to make strides towards its historic goal. India’s Lunar endeavour has now entered a crucial phase beginning its precise navigation procedure to guide the spacecraft when a significant milestone awaits for the gentle touchdown on moon near its south pole on 23rd August…
First Post

On reaching the lunar orbit, the first post of Pictures taken by Chandrayan has reached earth, and when the lander touches down, it will then start the next process, with the help of devices it will send the moon images back home
The health of Chandrayaan-3 is normal. Throughout the mission, the health of the spacecraft is being continuously monitored at ISRO
On the eve of Independence day, All eyes are on Chandrayaan for its historic landing on Moon…
